Crystal

You’re like a flower that will not open its petals
For fear your beauty will cause you to be picked
What garden do you tend to?
What type of flower grows in there?

Fall away from me, you fall away from everyone

Sandpaper tissues desensitise your nose
Ever scent offends you, why don’t you breathe through your mouth?
What rose gains favour from you?
What perfume do you like to wear?

Well you took me for an innocent
But I’ve seen it all before
Price of immunity is loneliness
That fatal strength will wither you away

Perforated eardrum, avoids the painful sound
What good is that though, if you’re screaming to get out?
What noise do you listen to?
What music would you like to go and play?
