For my PhD I aim to develop computer software to process structural geological cross-sections, with particular interest in feature analysis, parameterisation, and prediction. The project is being jointly supervised by Dr Peter Kovesi from Computer Science and Professor Chris Powell of the Tectonics Special Research Centre.
My honours project last year (supervised by Assoc. Prof. C.-P. Tsang ) was a Web interface for networked MIDI jam sessions. This uses ActiveX technology to display controls in a Web browser.
