Apr 21 The Big Day

For our big day, we're having a morning wedding and lunchtime reception at the stunning Haiku Gardens.  Dress standard is relaxed and practical, as the ceremony will be outdoors.  There will be photos, so wear whatever you're comfortable being recorded for posterity in!

Paradise Salad
Tossed baby greens in an orange-ginger vinaigrette topped with mandarin oranges & candied walnuts 

Spinach Salad
Lightly tossed with our freshly made balsamic vinaigrette, topped with pepper-bacon, red onion, tomato & feta cheese

Fresh Baked Fish with Capers and Herb Butter Drizzle

Grilled Tenderloin with Beef Demiglaze

Crunchy Coconut Shrimp
Dipped in tempura batter, dusted with coconut, fried & served with plum & honey-mustard dipping sauces.  Not gluten free.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Roasted New Potatoes

White Rice

Fresh Sauteed Vegetables 

(all menu items gluten free, except the coconut shrimp)

Drinks

There will be an open bar.  Tea, coffee, and soft drink / soda will also be available.  


   
Transport
For those staying in Kailua, we have arranged a V.I.P. Trans bus to take you to Haiku Gardens.  

Pickup will be 9:00am at this bus stop on North Kalaheo Avenue outside St Anthony's School.  The driver will not have a list of names or numbers, so please ensure you arrive on time.



The bus will then depart Haiku Gardens at 2:30pm, briefly stopping at Kalaheo Ave, before arriving in the Kailua town centre near the Kailua Town Pub & Grill so that everyone can continue celebrating!
 


If you are not staying in Kailua or prefer not to take the bus, below is a map to Haiku Gardens. Dave and the groomsmen will be welcoming guests at 9:30am.
